LINEMAN'S RODEO

This convention and trade show attracts the best linemen from around the world to compete in events based on skill. The event has grown to over 200 teams and 300 apprentices, with an economic impact of $3,282,749 for the city and 5,088 room nights.

US YOUTH SOCCER

ASSOCIATION

The US Youth Soccer National Championship Series is the country's most prestigious national youth soccer tournament, providing approximately 185,000 players on over 10,000 teams the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play. It is followed by an awards banquet. In 2019, the group brought in an economic impact of $2,061,566 and 4,559 room nights.

ASSOCIATED WHOLESALE GROCERS INC.

AWG is the nation’s largest cooperative food wholesaler to independently owned supermarkets, serving over 1,100 member companies and over 3,800 locations throughout 36 states from 8 full-line wholesale divisions. The economic impact to the city for their annual trade show in was $623,7111 with 789 total room nights.

MINORITIES IN AGRICULTURE

The 34th annual Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences, or MANRRS, National Conference was hosted at the convention center. More than 1,000 college students attended the week- long conference bringing 1,120 room nights to the city and $617,934 in revenue.
